Visual Narrative Research+Potential Chase scene

Going back to the original Narrative of the Fairytale I had a thought in my head that the ending was not climactic enough. Having the child escape the hutch instantly after tricking the rabbit doesn't feel like a big enough victory after such a uncomfortable ordeal. So to rectify this I decided to look back on past fiction and media for additional influences. This could help add more weight to the final act, making the victorius escape feel more earned. One such thing that stuck out to me in a lot of childrens fairytales and horror is the pursuit of the protagonist by an antagonist/monster. This can be seen in films such as Spirited Away, Night of the Hunter and even The Shining. It very much emulates that sensation of when your a child being pursued by a monster hiding in the dark, or a quick witted adult who is larger than you.
