Professional Experience: Planning at Oska Bright and Winning Student Film Competition.

I have been a long time partner of film festival committee since a young age. Even then I was going through new experiences within the festival in 2019. We intended to regularly have it at the old market theatre and arts centre each year. I was working as presenter and networker, mingling as much as I could with the guests that attended, we also had several activities available which I helped providing and presenting to them. This included a photo booth, a vr game, an artist corner an live interview corner with my friend Jason eade being the presenter and reporter. I was supposed to work on producing sketches and portraits of people who were interested. I only did one and that was for one of the featured film-makers; Mathew Kennedy.

I presented films with my colleague and friend Sarah Watson who also participated in the art corner. She had presented other screenings before, but the ones I regularly do with her are Science Fiction and Animation.

In terms of illustration work I had participated and entered my student film, Whats the Time? into the student screening. It was also featured on an Oska Bright after dark screening which showcased the weirdest films put into the festival. I was very shocked and taken back to know that my boss Lizzie Banks had submitted it to a curation team from The London International Short Film Festival. This was a screening for people with learning disabilities. I was very happy to be picked for inclusion.
