OSKA BRIGHT FILM FESTIVAL 2019

OSKA BRIGHT is an international film festival I have been working at for several years. It's exclusive to learning disabled film-makers or films about learning disabilities, so its quite personal to me. My regular work included judging the films as part of the committee and presenting some of them in the festival itself.

This year in 2019 I was offered another job, animating new idents between the showing of the films. The assets were already created for the advertising and marketing by professional Illustrator Billy Mather. I was given a very open brief as to what I could do with these assets as long as they were featured in the idents themselves. The colleague who gave me the brief was Lizzie Banks, who was in charge of the festival herself. She was the one I had to present my idents too for her approval. She was very happy with each of them although I don't think every single one was used in the festival.
