Egg Scene Change/replacement Attempts

I have attempted two ideas which didn't come out how I wanted.

The hands on left were an experiment for something more jittery and choatic, but for one its too short and second it doesn't seem to creatively reflect the rest of the piece. The masks on the right were originally going to be rotating like a carousel. I would have used my head, but from the attempts I made I could not sync my head with the camera. particular this time stamp 1:11. Seeing as it didn't work I decided to just shift the masks back and forth for some sort of gradual morphing effect, but once again...I wasn't satisfied. I couldn't get much ideas in my head for transitions.

So I have headed back and settled for small alterations to the original scene.

I've added an oval mask duplicate of the original footage except the threshold tool has been risen up a bit and the illustrated teeth are more defined at least.

Oh well, its better than not reaching the deadline. Besides, I have some new footage/ animation to potentially use in another project.
