Back in my last year at university, I remember having this drawing conceived as the basis for how I wanted the rabbits home to look like. It is fairly old now but I thought I would revisit it and give some context for the design as its one of my favourites. A mixture of a rabbit hutch and an old manor house. This would not only be reflected in the stilts holding the house up but in the window panels. Lifting inspiration from old Tudor style houses, I realised that the diamond criss cross design had a strong parallel to the criss cross wiring of a fence or a cage; which seemed to line up well with a rabbit hutch.
