Research of Industry Professionals

I am not sure of which career path I want to take, as I only have an interest in drawing, animation and for it at the moment. However as I am being forcefully pressured by the powers that be I have taken to looking at this list of company job contacts suggested by Lizzie Banks; a colleague from Carousel at the Oska Bright Film Commitee.

Bossalien-

Hangar13- https://hangar13games.com/ Creative Assembly- https://www.creative-assembly.com/ Ramjam- https://www.ramjam.co.uk/ This might be the company I am most interested and keen on as it seems to support a variety of styles and mediums from animated shorts to videogames and a bit of VR. I only feel concerned in how I would perform in an enviroment which might stress me out from perfection and deadlines. I'm not a very confident person as you can tell.

Move Animation- hello@moveanimation.com

Bliinks animators seem to consist of more minimalistic yet colourful designs.

PoshGecko

Mostly consists of Advertisement work.

Mid Level Animator- Must be Self-motivated and able to engage well in a team environment, must have a broad knowledge of typography and graphic design and work well in a team enviroment. Must be experienced in tight deadlines.

Adult Swim

I do like adult swim for their content, its very weird, humorous and subversive. They also make creatively dark material which I feel is up my alley.

Thoughts

I will admit personally that the job applications on hand are somewhat rubbing me off the wrong way as I am not a person who takes charge or co-operates with random colleagues and more of someone who would like to make things on their own or with people they are familiar with. This might awaken the idea that I might rather be self employed.

I am current applying for a masters degree in sequential storytelling. I hope this will help ease my mind and help me understand what I want for a career choice.
