Building scene development 2

I know I originally wanted to make the buildings look like buildings with the use of the Boole tool to make windows. But how was I going to do that to make several windows, same length and correct position. Clone the Boole of the cube first of course!

After applying the Boole to the slightly adjusted rectangle. I applied the cloner tool like I did with the petals in the flower scene. However instead of having the clone go in a circle I set it to a grid with cubes on the front and back sides. After adjusting the order in which segments would be invisible the building seemed alright although imperfect.

This is when I took the same method of drawing a texture for the wallpaper and the trees and applied it here with bricks. I also did some textures for the spinning spheres at the beginning of the scene. The background has nothing special as of the moment, although I intend to change that.


I am pleased with the route I have taken with animating the camera, it starts out on a regular plane and tilts up as the buildings rise, this hides the fact that they are phasing through the plane off screen.



I added a twist tool which went with the duplicated versions of the building so they would rise and twist at different points in the scene.
