I want to combine some Cinema 4D experience into my short film. And I think one of the interesting ways I can utilise it is with certain objects/vehicles in the environment.
In the film Bellville Rendevous by Sylvian Chomet, vehicles and sometimes even characters are integrated to fit the illustrative style of the film.
I want to try something similar by creating digital models and adding a crosshatching texture imported from Adobe Illustrator.
I have experimented already with a simple sphere.
I lowered the frame rate to give it more of a stop, frame animated look. It's not perfect but I'll keep experimenting to see if it will work on a car model.

Update- I have tested it, this is a basic blocky car model. The texture is the same except it will be a purple colour to match the scene it appears in.
